The Quarter Health and Education Precinct is a collaboration focused on health, education, research and innovation in Western Sydney.

Located within the Kingswood–Werrington corridor, The Quarter brings Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District, Nepean Private Hospital, Western Sydney University and the University of Sydney. The Quarter provides a platform for collaboration across healthcare, education, research, workforce development and place based initiatives within one of Australia's fastest growing regions.

A New Chapter for The Quarter

Partner organisations are working together currently to form how the collaboration will evolve and respond to emerging opportunities across health, education, research and innovation.

The Quarter has been recognised as part of the Penrith Collaboration Area by the Greater Sydney Commission. Collaboration Areas have been established to achieve a whole of government approach to managing places with great potential. Most of the nominated Collaboration Areas include at least one major hospital and a university, which together have the potential to enhance economic outputs and generate a range of quality jobs.
